Components of Vision
"Classroom instruction, of any kind, is a system. It is made up of many individual elements that work together to create an environment for learning... It is difficult, if not impossible, to change one element in the system without altering the others. " (Hiebert, 7)
As described in the introduction, my vision, that involves flipping the GRR model, is categorized into four components, all of which are build upon frameworks that are rooted in equity and access. All four components are tied to each other, as will be shown in the subsequent pages. Within each of the four components of my vision, I provide different artifacts from my first year of student-teaching to demonstrate how I put my vision into action while working within the various constraints of another teacher's classroom. I analyze each artifact and how it relates to my vision using a variety of different literature on these topics. Use the following buttons below to learn more.
